ABOUT THE ROLE
The Compliance Coordinator will be Infinity Global’s internal resource responsible to research, develop, train and report on mandated global compliance programs. This position ensures that our Account Teams, Suppliers and Customers receive documented procedures to manage global compliance regulations and report requirements, and further, that shipments are prepared in compliance with specific country regulations to avoid delivery delays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research domestic and international regulations for updates and actions required to ensure compliance
Manage communication with internal and external regulation departments to maintain knowledge on all new rulings and apply to required processes for compliance
Work with Suppliers to develop and report Social Responsibility and Environmental procedure
Analyze all compliance requirements for various procedures and provide necessary training and design strategies to achieve all objectives
Coordinate the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents
Ensure compliance documents satisfy global and local government requirement
Complete all tasks with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up
Regulatory and compliance experience preferred, Examples:
o Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
o Proposition 65
o EU REACH Regulations
o EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)
o EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)
o ECOVADIS and similar Sustainability Programs that report Supply Chain Carbon Footprint, Recyclable Materials, etc.
Ensure professional, accurate, and timely communication to complete tasks and resolve issues
Analyze and problem-solve effectively, efficiently and with a sense of urgency
An analytical mind with the ability to understand the complexities of procedures and regulations and correctly act upon them
Work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Project Management, Research-related degrees or similar field or 2+ years of experience in a related role
Experience researching new information, determining necessary action, and communicating findings to suppliers and other parties
Experience in packaging & luxury goods, or related industries is preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin), required to liaise with regional suppliers, customers, and regulatory counterparts
Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendor relationship management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and supplier networks.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to follow-through.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across multiple cultures and time zones.
Comfortable working with large volumes of data and maintaining data integrity within business systems.
