Account Manager
Provide internal support and service for Infinity’s clients and lead the development of the team approach to servicing clients. Be the central point of contact for the Account Executives (sales/product development) and for the Client. Manage, develop, and implement product business activities to maximize sales of assigned product lines.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Support the Account Executives’ project work and enable them to stretch their productive reach with the client
Manage and maintain the definitive agreements with clients; ensure that documents are complete and accurately define the agreements with suppliers and clients
For each client keep an up-to-date set of processes, contracts and pro forma P&Ls; analyze the profitability of new business and confirm existing business conforms to established profitability targets; provide regular updates on account profitability
Develop client relationships with key operational people and support their need for operational excellence
Work with Customer Service and Purchasing to ensure that internal processes are documented, implemented and completed
Coordinate the efforts of all team members as they focus on servicing the client; monitor credit limits, inventory, service levels, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Oversee the implementation of new accounts and the methods/procedures for those new accounts
Manage additions to the customer support team and lead the team to increase productivity through improved processes and outstanding support
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field and 3+ years of experience in business management with a focus on business development
Project management skills are a must
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French fluency would be a great plus
Thoroughness and attention to detail are key in this position
Familiarity with a variety of business concepts, practices and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Process documentation experience is helpful
A general understanding of inventory management and analysis
Willingness to constantly self-train on new procedures, systems, etc.
Ability to lead and manage groups of people not located in the same facility
A can do attitude and the willingness to see projects/tasks to completion
Must be proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel
